Your data stays yours
VINready is built by a Canadian trailer manufacturer. That’s why it fits how trailer shops actually work, and also why you might wonder who sees your records. The short answer: VINready is run separately from our trailer business, and your information is used for one thing only, running VINready for you.
What we never do
- Look through your VIN log, buyers, options, prices or build volumes for our own trailer business.
- Contact your buyers or dealers, or share their details with anyone.
- Sell or rent your information, or use it for advertising.
- Show one company’s records to another. Each account only ever sees its own.
What we can see, and why
- Account details
- Your company name, the email you sign in with and your plan, so we can run billing and answer support.
- Totals
- How many VINs an account has issued, to keep the service running smoothly. Not what they were or who bought them.
- Your records, only when needed
- If you ask us for help, or to fix a problem with your account, or when the law requires it. Never for any other reason.
How it’s kept
- Stored in Canada, sent over encrypted connections.
- Database rules keep each company’s records walled off from every other account.
- Only your account owner can change settings and billing.
You can leave any time
- Export your whole VIN log as a CSV spreadsheet whenever you like, from the VIN log page.
- Cancel any time, with no contract. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- When you close your account, we delete your data within 90 days (apart from billing records the law makes us keep).
