Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. Sign up and you get the full app for 14 days. You only enter a card when you subscribe.
What happens when the trial ends?
Generating new VINs pauses until you subscribe. Your VIN log, reprints and settings stay available, so nothing you issued is lost. If you subscribe during the trial, you keep the days you have left and the first payment is taken when the trial ends.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from Settings → Billing. You keep generating VINs until the end of the month you paid for, and your VIN log stays available after that.
Is there a limit on how many VINs I can issue?
Not from us. The VIN format itself sets one: low-volume manufacturers (a WMI ending in 9) get 999 serials per model year.
What do I need to get started?
The World Manufacturer Identifier (WMI) assigned to your company, your plant code, and your National Safety Mark number. Setup walks you through mapping your trailer options to VIN positions 4 to 8.
What printer do I need?
Any of these works: a print-and-cut machine (or a sign shop you send files to), a 4 × 6 in thermal label printer, or an office laser printer using the letter sheet with crop marks. Use outdoor-rated polyester or vinyl label stock.
Which taxes are added?
Prices are in Canadian dollars. 13% HST is added at checkout, so the plan comes to $32.77 a month.
